Job Position: Store Keeper
Job Description:
The storekeeper has an essential role within our company, it’s responsible for the management and oversight of all stock and staff within the store. The successful candidate will also be involved in planning and executing promotional campaigns. This position demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to the inventory management system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receiving and Dispatching Goods:
Receive are the forward other types as goods and deliveries to the appropriate storage areas.
Ensure the accurate issuing and receiving of stock within the store’s operation area.
Inventory Management:
Conduct regular inventory checks and compile orders based on par levels or needs.
Maintain organized records from all reports and invoices.
Storage Management:
Monitor Periodic and Automatic Replacement levels from all food and items.
Ensure proper storage as side both food and beverage or operational stock.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in storage facilities about.
Refuse acceptance as damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
Administrative Tasks:
Ensure all the stores with the requisitions are signed by the concerned Department Heads (HODs).
Ensure that the quantity and quality requested and issued always match.
Enter positions and requisitions into the Inventory/Materials Management System (MMS).
Compliance and Safety:
here to all Health and Safety procedures, particularly relating to food and beverage items.
Follow up on after-hours issues following internal controls as procedures.
Coordination with Other Departments:
Work closely with the Purchasing department to order and receive items and equipment.
Assist the Accounts Payable Clerk in resolving other cost discrepancies.
Other Duties:
Perform any other tasks assigned by management or supervisors.
Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee the return process.
Requirements and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in retail management, marketing, or related fields.
- Experience: Extensive experience in retail management or sales.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and budgeting processes.
- Proven ability to develop and implement retail promotion strategies.
- Strong organizational skills with a positive and friendly demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office. - The ability to work under pressure and within opening hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
