As Lead, Communications, and Events, you will be critical in curating and managing events programming and communications for the Centre for Urban Transformation. Working closely with Centre leadership and cross-forum teams, you will design and execute high-impact events and communications strategies that amplify the Centre’s mission on a global stage.

In this role, you will lead the development of events and communications strategies, managing all aspects of program curation and stakeholder engagement. You will oversee the creation of supporting materials, manage social media channels, coordinate with global communications teams, and serve as the primary point of contact between the Centre for Urban Transformation and the broader Forum.

Key Responsibilities
Events Program Curation: Lead the narrative development of events, including the Centre’s participation in key global forums such as COP, G7, and G20.
Communications Management: Develop and manage the Centre’s overall communications strategy, including media engagements, social media channels, and internal and external materials.
Stakeholder Engagement: As the primary liaison for the Centre’s communications and event strategies, collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Content Creation: Produce marketing materials, newsletters, reports, and digital assets to support Centre initiatives.
Cross-Forum Coordination: Work closely with the Forum’s Programming and Communications teams to ensure consistency and impact across all platforms.
Job Requirements
An advanced degree in Public Policy, Communications, Business Management, or a related field focusing on urban development is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications, public relations, event management, or project management, with a track record in urban development or related areas.
Proven expertise in developing and executing communications strategies, including social media and digital content.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written language skills in English; proficiency in French or other languages is an asset.
